| Current video clips are stored on DSS' hard-drive. This will store roughly 1 to 4 weeks of video clips, based on the amount of recording (see below for more details). |

| The system can also be programmed to automatically archive video clips to a 30 GB tape-cartridge drive. A single archive cartridge will replace 100's of conventional video tapes. Files can be quickly restored with the systems easy to use calendar format (see above right). | |
